Maverickpro201 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Where do you think the lake level will be the middle of August? Might make a trip then.
Smithvillesteve Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Hard to say in my opinion. I heard they could get as much as 5 inches this week down there. And there is nowhere for this water to go!! Until they start releasing water out of Bagnell, and i heard they were, then start releasing water out of Truman, Pomme could be extremely high all summer and into the winter. I was down there middle of last week and it was a mess. Roads closed, camp grounds closed, some ramps closed.
MrGiggles Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 If rain holds off (or at least stays average), the water could be down by them. Truman is down 4 feet, they should be able to start releasing from Pomme any time. But unless you have a way to predict the future, don't plan on it doing so. -Austin
MOPanfisher Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 If it is a typical missouri summer and major rain events don't happen, mid August should see normal levels again. But Missouri has a way of changing things.
Members hambandit Posted June 19, 2019 Members Posted June 19, 2019 nemo ramp sunday. Red circle is the underwater attraction, green line is roughly where the water is on the google maps screenshot. ive heard it should be calmed down by august also, but its awful high.
MOPanfisher Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Pomme is dropping now. Have fallen below the record level and hopefully will continue the fall as releases ramp up. If the precipitation will stay away the drop should be steady.
