netboy Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Well I can never figure out what SWPA has up their sleeves. Bull Shoal Lake is 24 feet above normal so I was surprised to see some lower water on the White river this morning. They were running about 8k cfs which is quite a bit less than the 16-24k cfs they have been running the last few weeks. I took the boat out and had to explore some new water as the area I have been fishing is now dry land. Caught a few here and there and then found an area where the caddis were coming up pretty thick. Caught a bunch of rainbows, 1 decent cuttie and 3 browns on a size 16 elk hair caddis. Looks like lower water again tomorrow morning, but who knows??? Here is a pic of the biggest brown... BilletHead, Quillback, marcusearlt and 4 others 7

Best thing I ever heard was from a girl at a gas station in Mountain Home. She said "Sometimes they run it and sometimes they don't"
