They could see the bait so much better! That day it made the difference. I was very surprised how snag free it was, when I did get hung up it came off very easy. And the baits that you can fish on the Tokyo rig is endless! The bite that day was very lite , just a little heavy feeling. I can see this rig really shines in the summer when they get a bit deeper. Thanks! What was the total weight of both sinkers you were using and how deep were you fishing? If you’d rather not give out that info I understand. 😂 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
dtrs5kprs Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 If it's at all like the jika, it will fold up on itself on the drop, and be a nice option for pole timber and deep trees. Interesting stuff. Mitch f 1

I was fishing just one bullet weight nose down and I was fishing a 3/16 lead weight. Most of the time I will fish two tungsten weights. But I fish lead too at times. I was fishing 5 to 15 feet. With one lead weight , when you get hung up the weight can slide up the wire and work free! Pretty cool rig for sure! Quillback, Mitch f, Daryk Campbell Sr and 3 others 5 1
