Members kbbgood Posted May 28, 2020 Members Posted May 28, 2020 Can anyone tell me where to put in on the North Fork for good floating for browns and how many hours it takes to float it or is it an over night trip? I use a Fish cat 9 pontoon boat I just got and don't really know what to expect. Would like to partner up sometime but don't know how to make it happen.
Gavin Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 You can put in at Sunburst Ranch, and float to their Landing, or put in at Kelly and float to Sunburst. Both are day floats. Camp at Sunburst Ranch. The surrounding lands are privately owned for the most part. Good Luck! trythisonemv 1
Members kbbgood Posted July 31, 2021 Author Members Posted July 31, 2021 Is there outfitters there that will transfer my truck for me or pick me up and my pontoon and gear and take me back to my truck? The pontoon will fit in a 8ft bed no problem. Just let out a little bit of air.
2sheds Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Contact Stephanie or Brian at Sunburst Ranch. They can get you all set. Johnsfolly 1
Gavin Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Brian and Stephanie @ Sunburst are great. Give them a call.
gotmuddy Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Definitely talk to Sunburst ranch, or message @Justin Spencer I thought the best section for browns was below blair bridge but I could be 100% wrong. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Gavin Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Justin & Amy sold to Brian & Stephanie. They still live up the road though.

Justin guides fairly regularly though so I figured he would have an idea everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
