Otherwise I just build a console, cover it in vinyl, carpet, or SeaDeck, and add switch panels, guages, stereo, cup holders, ect.

I could draw a pic later tonight to give you an idea. I left one of the doors on for a storage area under the console, and for access to the switches/guages/steering helm. It probably wouldn't be cost efficient unless you had an old toolbox in the aluminum scrap pile like I did. 😊

We're going to have the rails custom built by a guy here in town. Add clips to the rails and install barn wood for side panels. Yes it will have a hillbilly feel to it.
