oneshot 1 Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 I'm thinking of building a Small Green House using Treated Lumber and Clear Plastic Panels. Open for ideas. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 I have thought about it before but I just go back to my cold frame for lettuce, radishes and spinach. And I have drastically reduced my garden signature this year to basically only tubs and existing raised beds. Seems like folks in know that build a green huse fall into 2 categories. 1. Those who are hard core and will use it for many years. 2. Those who like the idea but get one maybe 2 years out of it then quit using it.
Dutch Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 They always looked like a PITA to me. I’d rather be fishing than wondering if I needed to be home to open it up so stuff didn’t get too hot. tho1mas 1
oneshot Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Anymore it is warm enough around here that a person can garden some bulk of the year. Like I told my Sister if I plant Potatoes I can leave them in the ground almost all Winter. I can leave Carrots and Turnips in for sure. oneshot
