Painting treated wood is a waste of time and money.  Won't stick long and looks terrible.

When I built my deck I used CCA, let it dry out then power washed and sealed it with Thompson's.  A few boards eventually started rotting so I replaced with a few sticks of CCA and a few sticks of regular old pine lumber.

The plain old pine lumber (non-treated) has lasted longer than the CCA on the uncovered portion of my deck.

If I had to do it again, and wanted it to last forever, I'd use plain lumber, never treat it, and just paint it.    But actually for a deck I like the rough look of weathered unpainted/untreated lumber.
