Greetings OAF!

My family and I just recently relocated from Bentonville AR to Western Tennessee (Jackson.) So far I like the area, but unlike Arkansas, I don’t know the streams and lakes very well. Plus, with current events, I haven’t been able to meet any of the locals who have firsthand knowledge of local waterways. So far I’ve visited Graham Lake and checked out Hurricane Creek. If you know some fishable waters in western TN, let me know what I should check out!

thanks!

Just got back from Genada.  Lake is full of fish... lots of gizzard shad and big crappie.  I'd like to go back and try some things other than spider rigging.  It is an interesting lake though.

Reelfoot to the north of you, Tn River to the east.  Sitting at Pickwick right now getting ready to hit the river. Been a tough weekend, strong front and drizzle most of yesterday. Hoping today is better.

This place does trips on the Hatchie River which is just south of Jackson.  Looks to be not as pretty water as Ozark streams but sounds like it has a healthy fish population.
