I’m not talking everywhere on the lake. I know those rules. But there is plenty of room to drop your kayak on the other side of the courtesy dock without being in the way of the ramp. Done it that every single time I have taken my kayak out there.

Definitely doable, or at least move quickly, but I had someone hollering at me for doing that one day by the ramp, and said there was a ramp I needed to use it.

Weird. That just doesn’t make any sense. But they do a lot of things out there that don’t make much sense.

Ramp there is always a joke.  People sit in line in the truck but when they back down they have 15 min of loading junk into the boat and unstrapping it.  Irritating to say the least.

Kayaks should have their own area away from the ramp.

All the kayaks use the gravel area on the west side of the ramp, unless they are on a trailer.  There is room to back a truck there.

The lady in the office told me to use that spot when I got my sticker

But they don't all use the gravel area. I routinely see kayaks being launched/pulled out on the ramp. That's fine unless there are other people waiting to use the ramp.

I was out there a couple weeks ago and there was a couple with their kayaks on the ramp, vehicle in the road, sorting things, giggling, putting lotion on. Other boaters waiting for them to get out of the way. Completely oblivious.

Was out there a couple of winters ago, and there was a small group of guys, on the ramp, with spotting scopes and cameras set up bird-watching the loons. I waited a number of minutes for them before I had to get out and explain the error of their ways. Completely oblivious.

I take my boat to a lot of ramps, but that one wins the prize for displays of stupid.
