My 5 year old Optimas are starting to show signs of weakening.  The Pro Guide 31 has the same warranty and a lot more RC.  I haven't had a set of them since flooded cells a year ago.  Who’s using them or have knowledge about them?

Picked mine up last Thursday, too.  Got 2 Pro Guide AGM Group 31.  Fished today with them for the first time.  Held the boat in heavy current all morning.  Checked voltage when I got home and was still over 12.6v on both batteries.  First impressions were great, hope they hold up to my abuse.

I fished mine for 5 hours cranking and they were on full charge in an hour after I got home.

my trolling batteries were on their 4th season so needed to get replaced. My new livescope was eating up a Proguide 27 so at the advice of a friend I went to Sam's and got AGMs  A 31 for the cranking battery. He said get Diehard, I ended up with Duracell but it took a full days use 11 hours on the water and stayed over 12v .

The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check

These batteries keep impressing me.  Yesterday I fished into the wind for 5 hours.  Most of the time the trolling motor was on 4 or 5 speed.  I used 10 crossing coves.  I checked them after 2 hours on the charger and all lights were green.  I’ve never had any that would recharge so quickly.  Maybe it has something to do with the 245 rc.
