Royal Blue Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 My wife broke her leg on Sunday and it's obviously put a damper on hitting the lake in the short term. Got done at the ortho dr and decided to make a super quick run to the lake and see if we could find any that wanted a Rock Crawler or a spinnerbait. We dumped the boat in at Aunt's Creek at 11:45 and had it on the trailer by 2:15. Not ideal but had 6 really nice keepers in that time all on the baits mentioned above and they all choked the bait when they bit. Looking forward to getting back out. 62-63 degree water everywhere we dropped the trolling motor and never went further than a couple miles from Aunt's. cheesemaster, SupremeJCK, Hunter53 and 5 others 8

I actually tossed a jerkbait for a few minutes because I love that bite too, but they were eating that crankbait about as good as they can. I hated to leave! big c and cheesemaster 2
