After about 20 years my Saw Saw has about had it.

Going to buy a New One. Do I want cordless? Got a Cordless Drill and use it all the time.

Only buy cordless if you absolutely need it. They're pretty good, but not as good as a long stroke corded, and they suck batteries down in a hurry, unless you want to spend big money on brushless.

I have a DeWalt corded that is a cuttin' SOB. Beats any other that I've tried. The more stroke and amps, the better.

I prefer 120 volt saws - circular and saws most.  3/8" drill cordless is fine.  1/2" hammer drill 120 volt ten times out of ten.  Porter Cable, Makita, Hitachi and Bosch are brands I've had good experience with and they're still out in the shop.  The Hitachi cordless drill has to be 20+, has been dropped off the ladder and the handle repaired with duct tape to get the batteries to stay plugged in and still works great.  Had the batteries rebuilt maybe 10 years ago at batteries plus and they're as good as new.

Two brands I used to own a lot of when we were working are DeWalt and Milwaukee.  But not a fan anymore, seem to have had as much or more trouble with them so I just went other ways.

I have 3 of them...2 120 volts and one cordless, a 120 and cordless here and a 120 at the farm.   I’ll take my cordless every time.  I used it to cut a 4’ piece of 1/8” aluminum tread plate and didn’t have to change batteries.

This sounds crazy but most the time I buy stuff anymore I consider what my Son wants because he uses it most the time.

He is the one that said this one has about had it. He was cutting out Windows for us.

If I would use my wife’s advice it would be cheap junk.

Got a De Walt cordless drill I like it. Lots of this stuff works great some to me I look for ways to destroy so I can get better.

Used this one to split a Beef. Don’t do this Blood makes stuff rust. LOL

Ok found a good corded one for $90. Got another saw I thought he was going to use that would be faster I think.

Bought a Miter Saw. Son asked why I bought it? I figured you needed it.

Was going to buy an extension so I could haul longer stuff with my Pickup. Son asked why when he has a 16 foot trailer. Going to need it for 16 foot metal for our roof.

They have this totally new thing that you probably have not have heard of there in the backwoods where you and your wife and your son all live, but they call it delivery.

We are only 7 miles from town but still have stuff delivered.

Now have a problem with Dog that feels he has to protect the place.
