My experience with pain meds:  They don't actually do much for the pain, but they do make you stupid enough to not care.  Ibuprofen helps as much as anything for me.  Having had two back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, a rotator cuff repaired that involved screws, carpal tunnel release on both hands and a kidney stone that would not pass, I'm an expert.

Or maybe did not respond to the original pains that caused all of the joint damages.  Pain is your bodies way of telling you something is wrong.

Did anyone mention a calcium issue?  All of that damage and kidney stones would seem to make me think about that and I never got past pre med.  Obviously, you were on a factory floor doing alot of repetitive motion.

My thing is I’m on Warfarin because I have Blood Clots so all they can give me is Hydrocodone.

The Hydro is bad enough that if I’m in other serious pain nothing else does any good.

Doctor even scared to put me out.

Found out to I messed my Leg up when I was 18. I worked for many years. Because of my Leg, found out basically I was unemployable. I should have went on Disability.

It’s gotten bad I have to have someone get me up. I can do it myself but I have to get to bouncing.

Not factory work except a brief time in college.  My family has a long history of orthopedic problems and arthritis.  I lay most of it on to bad genetics.  Nearly all of my cousins also have a prosthetic joint or two.  I did do a lot of hard physical work when I was younger, but in my later years it was mostly all management.
