12/27 Up the James

On the water at 730. Put in a Bridgeport. Motored up to Peach Orchard. WT 50. 1st hour and a half boated 12. 2 keepers. 8 on jerk bait and 4 on RK in craw fish pattern. Then nothing, nada dang thing. Checked Bear Den with no luck. Bout 11 went over to Flat Creek. Caught 9 in less than 20 minutes jerking. All decent but only 2 more keepers. Bite shut off and we were on the prowl. Started hitting main lake points that the wind was blowing across. Casting upwind and coming across the points paid off. Off the water at 330. Total fish 46. Total keepers 6 all barely keepers. All fish caught in less than 20 fow. Also, most of the fish looked like they swallowed footballs. Fat and healthy kinda like me. Haha. 
 

Today was about getting out of the house and just fishing with one of my best friends. It was a good day
