Would those new shoulder parts be made of titanium?

My repaired back is titanium and ok for MRIs. Had a couple since the fusion. But I can pass on some weird MRI experiences.  During a couple shoulder MRIs I could feel pulling in fillings in teeth and my opposite shoulder.  I had to refuse a cutout on a pole that was too high to use the extendo stick and we couldn't get the line truck to the pole. Had to climb it.  It was on a larger circuit and the fuse was big. The fuses are made of a flexible stranded wire that attaches to the single wire of the fuse. Generally if you patrol the line after an outage and find no visual reason for the fault you refuse the circuit and try the line again. If you can string out workers up and down the line watching and listening for the fault as the cutout is closed. Sometimes faults such as tree branches or animals have cleared the line and after cutout is closed circuit is restored and your job is done. Well when I closed the fuse with the hard hat on head down and safety glasses it blew again with a sound that hurt your ears shrapnel from the fuse I could feel hitting my shoulder. I had a bloody impact spot. Some of the fine parts of the braid went into the shoulder. During the MRI many, many years later I felt the minute stuff trying to come out. May have I do not know but strange feeling none the less.

Wow, you created your own Arc Flash incident?  Yes shoulder is Titanium and thus the MRI doesn't care about it.

No it was a fuse blowing in a cutout open on the bottom. You want it to blow on the cutout door like in your fuse box instead of damaging the line. It goes kaboom and the circuit is interrupted the door opens. Generally its fused a certain percentage of what  load is on the distribution lines in service. Sometimes on extra hot summer days determining loads we would glove and sleeve up and take readings on circuits three phase and single phase feeders.  I never personally started a phase to ground or phase to phase arc but the other lineman on our crew has and I was there on the ground. He was in a bucket and a very tall man but when that arc started he disappeared into the bottom of the bucket. All lines are not on a cutout especially main feeds out of substations. The Arc quit meaning the three phase reclosure had did it's job protecting the line. I ran to the truck to lower the boom from the ground as my Forman started screaming Donnie, Donnie are you alright?  Well as I was lowering the boom Donnie's head peeked over the the edge of the bucket like Kilroy drawings during the war.  Scared the crap out of me. First big arc I had ever seen. RIP Donnie Bugg. Chain Smoking and cancer finally was his demise.
