Lake Hamilton Ark

We have a family thing in hotspings Ark. My question is about lake Hamilton.

It's a four hour drive for me, so does anyone have any experience fishing this lake, I hate to take the boat if the fishing sucks.

Never fished the main lake, but the Quachita tailrace at the upper end can be really good for stripers and walleye this time of year.

Lots of boats on a weekend.  Upper end is stocked with trout during winter.  Too many people and houses to be good fishing.  Quachita is better fishing.

Looks like some of the top guys will be there. 
 

i went back in the winter “post on here somewhere” and loved the lake. Will be back this fall.
