It's been awhile since I have posted. I was an avid fly fisherman for many years, mostly along the White River basin. Things got busy and priorities shifted. I am now retired and picked up an old deck boat and an old bass boat. I have been focusing on becoming more proficient as a multi species fisherman. I've been able to limit on crappie most all times of the year. I've done well on white bass and occasionally pick up a small hybrid.  I learn alot from reading,  you tube, fishing with guides and other experienced anglers. I still need to build confidence in walleye, catfish, and largemouth fishing. I used to bass fish in the mid 1980s. There's quite a learning curve to be a jack of all trades. I still need to get my fly rods back down on Taney.

Sounds like we're in the same boat (boo, hiss, I know), with the exception of my starting basically from scratch. Been reading, Youtubing, asking silly questions & getting out with more experienced fishermen as often as I can. I can think of much worse things to do in retirement, but this is exactly what I wanted for mine & I'm lovin' it.

I always wondered where you went. Glad to see you are still out there enjoying life. Hopefully I'll run into you sometime.
