Fish24/7
Sorry I haven't reported in a while. We all know black bass fishing is good on the Bull. All I have been doing is targeting largemouth and looking for stained to dirty water. I haven't caught a bass deeper than 8' all summer. Most are in that 2-6' zone. I don't have water temps because I haven't had to use any electronics to catch fish. I can just stick the paddle in the water to see how deep it is 😄 Been throwing the same lipless crankbaits for 2 months. Find a productive area, fish it from all possible angles, and make hundreds of casts a day and you will catch fish on them. Using a high speed reel is a must just because they want it fast, and a slow reel will just wear you out trying to fish a lipless for 4-5 hours. Went out the other evening after some rain and the air temps dropped from 98 to 78 😁Didn't take but about 2 casts to get bit. Average size I've been catching is 13-17" with the occasional 3lb fish and averaging around 20 fish per trip. They aren't lunker's ,but it's a lot of action on a bait I love to throw. The majority of my fishing trips have all been half days starting at day break and done by 10 or 11. Have yet to catch a fish with a hook hole in it's face other than mine. Good luck , and I will report back in a month or so. FishnDave and nomolites
Bill Babler
Great report, thanks. Wish we could say the same thing on the hook holes. Im totally surprised when I catch one without multiple hook holes in their head. Caught 20 some K’s off a bluff end the other day, no keeps in the group and I bet every single fish had at least one hook hole. I’m guessing all the keeps in the school took a crisco bath. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

I've ate a few ,not gonna lie. Spots only though. I refuse to eat largemouth or brownies. Will be trying for some catfish next time. Freezer is getting low on groceries.
