Heretolearn Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 After getting beat up by the waves on Stockton this week when I finally got to go fishing for a couple of days, I am in the market for a boat that will take the waves a lot better than my Tracker 175, which has otherwise been great for me. I am looking for a new/newer 4 stroke aluminum V bottom boat and would greatly appreciate some input from those of you with similar boats or if you know of one for sell. I am also thinking a Smooth Moves Ultra Suspension Seat base would be a good idea, but apparently can't put it in my Tracker 175. Other boat recommendations are welcome. Thanks for any input!
Members eyesearcher Posted October 16, 2022 Members Posted October 16, 2022 I have a 2014 Alumacraft Escape 165CS in like new condition with a Mercury 40HP with less than 200 Hours. Has a 70# 24 volt Powerdrive and Garmin 93. I was planning on advertising it next spring at 14k but would let it go now. PM with questions. I can text pictures. rps 1

In my opinion unless your wanting to go deep V the Tracker 175 is one of the smoothest aluminum Hulls out there. My 19ft glass boat doesnt cut through the waves as well as my 175 did.
rps Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I reached that point when I had an Xpress. Good boat, but beat you and the electronics to death. My next was an Alumacraft 16.5 Navigator tiller with a 75HP ETEC. Never should have sold the boat. (Long story involving health and wife) After that I had a Lund Rebel windshield boat with a 90HP ETEC. Were I to buy another boat, in your circumstances, I would buy a used Alumacraft, Lund, or Crestliner single console v hull somewhere between 16.5 feet and 19 feet. I would have Wrench find me a fairly new ETEC to power it, and I would drop serious money on the scopes and electronics. If I had the urge for new, look at the Vexus side console or center console and have Wrench find the near new ETEC motor to fit it. My $.02. Good Luck. dan hufferd, Daryk Campbell Sr and kjackson 3

On the upper right of your screen, there should be an icon of 3 horizontal lines with a green number above the magnifying glass. Click on that, then it will show you messages. Then it is similar to email. This is in the mobile version. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction.
