May 8. - somewhere around point 23

A bit of a Surge Shad bite this AM, scattered fish, some were out as deep as 40 feet, but my best one came right off the front of a laydown.  Early they bit it pretty good and held on, but later in the AM, they'd swirl and slap at it, but wouldn't touch it.  Got pretty windy about 9 or 10 and that put them down for the most part.

Got a few spotted bass on the ned rig.  

Caught 16, with 4 keepers.

WT was 66 when I first put in.
