Daryk Campbell Sr Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 @BilletHeadgot me wanting to see if the gills near me were active. I decided to go to my local overfished pond. Had a great evening. 1 Crappie landed, 1 lost while lifting it out of the pond many green sunfish and a few bluegills. Crappie pictured was on a green thread black ghost streamer that was tied for the winter fly swap. I was playing with colors. The others were caught on a foam popper I tied. Many more were caught. All released. Now is the time. kjackson, nomolites, tjm and 3 others 6 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. BilletHead Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Well done Daryk. Those fish are a hoot fly fishing. Green sunfish and pretty accommodating and hit anything. Sometimes they save the day when nothing else bites.
