Members breeves2245 Posted July 10, 2023 Members Posted July 10, 2023 To say I'm not a technical angler is an understatement by a large margin. Based on advice from this forum I did go to the AGFC website and get the fish attractor download for Beaver Lake. Took the SD card to the Humminbird and loaded it up. Only caught a few small ones this morning, but it was a hoot to locate a few of the waypoints where I was fishing around the islands at Prairie Creek. Maybe next time they will hold some fish. The process worked very well and I wasn't having to constantly stare at the fish finder, just glance from time to time to see the distance from boat to waypoint. Something new for the ol bank beater! Dutch Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 20’ + - is within the accuracy that the government allows. That added to the location of the gps doin the recording can easily make it 40’.

Now accuracy is purely dependent on the device and its' view of the sky. I can't dance like I used to.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 With livescope, they can be 100' off and still easy to find, i also think the AGAF puts in much larger brush piles than MO

They were sinking cedar trees, it made some big piles. Three years ago I saw AGFC doing the same thing around the dam area on Beaver, they were cutting cedars, hauling them down to the lake, taking them out on a barge, and sinking them.
