I know several parks last year had to limit the number of people per day just due to impact. Fished with a guy Friday that has hiked the Wind River Range for years. We got there as soon as the gate opened. Nobody there. 5 hours later it was packed. They said in the summer you can’t hardly get into the park due to crowds. That’s why we waited until schools started. Cut down the crowds quite a bit. In fact we have planned all of our trips in the off season as best we can.
