Been a while so decided to get out before rain comes.

Decided to put in at PC and go south.   On water about 8.    It was colder than I thought it would be, but warmed up mid morning.

No bites early, up near PC so moved down to Monte ne area.  Found water 52.4 deg and had some success on small secondary points and also in the very backs of pockets.  Everything shallow , most in the 3 - 8 ft range.  Most came on bandit 200.   Ended day with 12, all spots.   Only 3 keepers.

Nothing photo worthy.

What rod do you we got them?

Lol, forgive me, but I'm not quite sure what you are asking!

I should probably buy some more.   I've been using the same 200 for over 5 years and that one caught my PB smallmouth at Stockton so I should retire that one so I don't lose it!

Bandits are a lighter crank bait so I was asking what setup you use to throw it.

Ah yes, thanks, that makes sense.   I believe I had that on spinning reel, 8 lb mono, med light action rod.
