I was told not to do anything without a Cane or Walker. 

Got to have Home Health come in.

There's a dude around here that does some of the coolest tricks you've ever seen with his cane.   And just when you think you've seen it all, he pulls off another one.   

Opens beers. 

Catching and THROWING frisbees. 

Picking flowers.  

Picks up rocks, tosses them up, and smacks them like a baseball.   

Dude could probably tie his shoes, using nothing but his cane.

You know it's a matter of learning. 

I lost use of my Arm my Mother in Law said she wouldn't feel sorry for me because some woman could change a Diaper one handed. 

So I guess she lost her arm and immediately was able to change a Diaper?

I fell in the Greenhouse this morning trying to set thermostat on a Fan. My wife had to get me up.

So are you going to be compliant or a hardhead who knows better than everybody else?  My advice is do as you're told, its' helped me get over a lot of orthopedic issues, the last one being a dislocated hip.  That brace wasn't any fun but I'm doing fine now.  I wish you the best.

I really messed up one time was operated on and was told not to do anything for a year. 

What do I do? Couple months later I went as a Guide and Camp Cook for my Son on a Hunting Trip in the mountains. 

Now have a Hernia because of it.
