7/4-7 mid lake

Got busy when I got home but for what it’s worth:

Summer pattern is aways hard for us this weekend wasn’t any different. We fished the first 3-4 hours a day and picked up 5-6 SM and Spots each morning. Tried drop shotting some live night crawlers for walleye but just fed bream and channel cats. Hear are the best of the few.

Thx for the report.  Sounds pretty good for July.  Any size to the bluegill?

Actually pretty good size. We were saying maybe some crickets next trip? They were all over the state brush piles.

I keep telling myself I’m gonna target them with crickets but I haven’t yet.

Same here, good time of the year to do it with the bass being a bit slow.  Tasty little devils they are.
