Quillback Posted Monday at 05:03 PM Posted Monday at 05:03 PM In the water by 0515 this morning. Cloudy with a bit of a breeze. Started out looking for stripers, not much top water activity, but did manage to catch a couple of 5 lbers. Both of them just went ballistic after being hooked, it was fun. Caught a couple of smallmouth on top and a few on a c-rig before I left about 10 AM. Campground was full, once the warm sunny weather starts, the rec boats will be out in force. WT 79 Look how dark this smallie was: Stripers: Lance34, snagged in outlet 3, BilletHead and 4 others 7
AR Huzgr Posted Monday at 06:05 PM Posted Monday at 06:05 PM We probably crossed paths on the water today

Johnsfolly Posted yesterday at 01:41 PM Posted yesterday at 01:41 PM Hey Jeff that is a cool looking smallie. Congrats on the striper bite! Due to the down turn in numbers MD canceled the early run season for the big stripers. The striper season opened a few weeks ago here. I haven't tried for them at all. We mostly catch schoollies from shore. The big cow stripers are up in Mass or Maine right now. Quillback 1
