Members breeves2245 Posted July 29 Members Posted July 29 Going to have to try out the new rig (truck camper/jon boat combo) at Indian Creek later this week as overnight lows will be in the mid 60's. A weak cool front may knock down the fish bite but I'm not wasting this brief relief from the summer temps. Anxious to see if a 14'10" Jon boat (G3 FL15) will be adequate to get me around the creek arms without feeling too unstable. Lance34 and snagged in outlet 3 2
Quillback Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Cool down will be nice. You should be fine in that boat unless it is really windy. Watch out for wakes generated by the wake boats.

Watch out for wakes generated by the wake boats. A guy in our condo association has the biggest surf boat I’ve ever seen. Tigé. Needs a triple axle trailer. They had over 10 people in it. Giant boat! GIANT WAKE!!! Lance34 1
