Quillback Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The smallies are still biting. I fished until 1100, wind started blowing pretty hard, and I'd had enough of fighting the wind. Boated 30 smalls, a small striper, and a barely short walleye. Caught a couple early on the Whopper Plopper, then it was the ned rig and the 2.8 Keitech. Smallies are still out in the 10 FOW, with a few shallower, especially on a windy bank. Biggest smalls was a bit over 18", just shy of 3 lbs. You can see the flat stomach on it, I'm sure it is spawned out. Probably won't get back out again until next week, stuff to do and Friday looks to be stormy. You guys be nice to them! Members razorbackfan4life Posted 36 minutes ago Members Posted 36 minutes ago Looks like Saturday is the only day to fish from the weather forecast I saw. I'll be heading out to lower end with a friend. He loves catching the brownies. Dad went out with a buddy today and they caught probably 60. Mostly brownies. Said he had one black that was close to 6lbs throw his bait by the boat.
