Bassmaster Tuesday Night Live at Mill Creek

I drove over to take in the weigh-in for the inaugural Bassmaster Tuesday Night Live yesterday at Mill Creek. It was good times, just like a classic weekday evening jackpot tournament complete with weigh scale and basket in the back of a pickup truck. Mike Iaconelli and Drew Benton bested the four two-man teams with 15-7 for a 6 fish team limit. Zona and Mercer were their hilarious selves with two particularly funny moments. Zona pulls the cash out of his pocket to pay the winning team their $5000 and it's a giant wad of $20 bills. And then, a little bit later after all the teams had been weighed and the winners paid, it's all winding down, people are starting to leave and Mercer yells out in his booming voice, "Hold everything! We've got lead weights!!" 

 

The four anglers that rode as co-anglers had their rigs at the ramp so I had chance to check them out. I had to laugh at Ike's boat.

I think this is a cool format.  Is there a schedule posted on Bassmaster?

I really enjoyed the pro with pro format and watching the livestream! Nice change up from the traditional format
