I’ve heard after a good rain you can catch fish back up on creeks where the water is flowing in? If that’s true, I assume today would be a good day to go up clifty or Indian creek? I’ve only been fishing beaver for a couple of years. We have a place around pt 5, just trying to learn more about fishing conditions and how to time them right!

I was out yesterday but did not look into the backs of the creeks.  Didn't see much water coming in, just a bit in a few of little gullies coming down the banks.

If I lived where you did, I would go check the back of North Clifty (Henry Hollow).  Might be some fish back there, I have fished it a couple of times in the spring and ran into whites, black bass, and walleye.

On the west side of the point 5, that bluff that runs from point 5 to the south is worth checking out for a top water bite (stripers and black bass).  It may still be a bit early, but in May they should start showing up.  Get there early in the morning on a calm day and look for blow-ups.
