New Area Report 4/27/26

I decided to try a new area today.   Since it’s Monday and there’s not a lot of people down here I decided to cross over the main lake.   Which I haven’t done since I only have a flat bottom Jon boat.  Water temperature was 68 and still that weird brown color.  
On the water at daybreak.  I fished for four hours and caught 15 and missed at least another 15 either long distance or right at the boat.  
I didn’t catch any for the first two hours while I hopped around looking for “fishy” banks.  generally I head straight to the back of big coves and fish my way out.   Nothing in the far back and I still haven’t seen a bed or any fish that looks like it is or was spawning.  Or a smallie.  I can’t believe I haven’t caught one yet.  Some nice keeper largemouth and spots though.
