fishinwrench
Went out again yesterday (Sun.) and had it pretty tough. I strung up the 6wt. to deal with the "breeze" and tried a variety of locations and presentations only to find the bite "unchanged". Same flys and presentation were the only thing that I got any action with. I ended the day with fewer fish to hand as a result of "looking for something better". Had I stuck with what I knew was working I think I would have done better. Best fish was a real pretty Brown that just bumped 16", he hit a leech on the swing. Ham
YEAH MAN! We invaded Mountain Home 8-15-07. A beach head has been secured. I've caught lots of trout (all four species) snd lots of bass (all three species on Norfork) and River Smallies too. I've purchased flyrods for both my kids and have them catching trout with recklesss abandon on Dry Run Creek. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. fishinwrench
Glad you liked it. Bonus points if you can recognize where it was taken from... Here's another...
Members tarpon14
The pic is the Conservation access just below Bennett - I think they call it Bennett access. Took me about ten seconds to get it - some of you are probably quicker... Ran up to Barclay access this afternoon, water is clearing up, caught a half dozen small browns in 20 minutes, best one about 14".
strangercreek
Fishinwrench, not sure of the exact spot but it is on the road that takes you down to Ho Humm. I stopped in that same spot one time (I think) to take a leak and found a Buck Lite folding hunter on the ground. I still have it. Not to far from the camp ground if I remember right (it has been a while though)
fishinwrench
Absolutely correct ! it is on the way to Ho-Humm looking down on the stretch just above Barclay. And yep, the other pic (the one Tarpon is referring to) was taken just below the 64 bridge.
