Yes a harness with 2oz  BB. Water was 53°

Thanks for the info gonna give it a try the next couple days.  Again way to lay it on them yesterday.

Yes, sometimes the walleye wins. Great report Trevor, I really appreciate it as I'll be down soon and finally have good weather in the forecast!  Hopefully I can duplicate your success!

The only downside to the trip was that they bit like crazy for 2 hours then the last hour only caught 2. Then i realized that the wind had stopped blowing. I had good 10-15mph winds blowing right into the cove i was fishing. When it quit, it was like someone had turned off a lightswitch.

Just curious...Were you hunting COE land around lake? 

I've been thinking about hunting the AM and fishing the afternoon with a possible side excursion of mushroom hunting.

Great day and report! Were you fishing secondary points in coves or a certain type of structure?

I am thinking of getting the father-in-law out on Thursday. Was going to target crappie, but now you have me second-guessing myself.

Shallow coves with the wind blowing into the cove. I went today in the afternoon and didnt have much luck. Went out again the last 2 hours of the day and caught 13.
