Was visiting California for work. They haven’t had any rain in this area for 9 months. I’m betting the lake is 15-20’ down.

We supplied the vertical steel casing for the new Lake Mead tunnel shafts.  That lake got so low they couldn't pull water from it because it got below the old shaft intake.

They are used to that out there, aren't they?

That's what makes their deep structure fishing so awesome.   It isn't like the lakes in this part of the country where everything deeper than 15ft. or so is covered in a 3' deep blanket of silt and sludge.   A 35ft. ledge or rock pile out there is something a fish would actually want to hangout around.
