  1. Give away the young guys who have been your foundation and turned you into contenders for a barely above .500 pitcher with a 3.2 ish era? not a GREAT move by standards of a dynasty but hey, nothing wrong with TRYING to buy a series. viva la Marlins
  2. $$$?????
  3. I have green Costas, love them. Dunno about blue vs green though.
  4. 9.9 hp max I believe, no jets as a result

    pond testing

O my I know a bullhead pond, found it by mistake one night, late. can of worms, camo and a 5 gallon bucket around 1 a.m. seems to be the best time to fish it
  7. Day 2 My favorite local river. Paddled up a mile or so and floated back. 2.5 hrs on the water, 38 fish half were better than 12, 6 went 14-15" Off to the Little Red tomorrow for a few days. Trout mode.
  8. Always good to know you have options should you ever be in such a situation.
  9. Got done with work around 11:00 today and my vacation was officially on! I had been wanting to hit a little river about 45 minutes away for the last couple years, but never have made myself do it. With all afternoon and nothing to do, we loaded up the kids and kayaks and went on a little bronze mining adventure. Long story short, gorgeous river LOTS of fish for both kids, and a great afternoon.
  10. I think you answered the trick question correctly.
  11. Saw way too many kids on the river Saturday, wrong environment IMO, but to top it off, the people with the kids were the ones who were most clueless. Saw more families flip their boats than drunks.

    My struggle

Hang tough man, do what you gotta do for yourself as well as for your family. I cant imagine the stress level. Wish I had something more inspirational. Prayers
  13. Back to the vice for another round. I leave Wednesday for the river, will heed suggestions and they are appreciated. What sizes are you guys throwing?
  14. I have thought about doing something similar, if you build it start a build thread, I'd like to see it done. Consider an 18, never hurts to have 2 more foot.
  15. Goodness, sad deal regardless of circumstances. I hate dams.
  16. Getting ready to do some night fishing on the Little Red this week. #2 buggers and bunny buggers. Any additional suggestions?

Ha, ya it was a regular zoo. water was perfect for a chillaxing beer float though. Saw some sights very similar to that, mind blowing how bad some are in canoes. I watched for your 119, but as you said there was no way
  18. I wouldn't have been back in the pond, let alone the shortcut.
  19. Plug, I may be mistaken, but I think that you misinterpreted smalliebigs post.....
  20. Bach party float trip? Forget the Buffalo, hit the Elk with a pile of beads on a Saturday, cheap strip club . Not sure about RV spots, but I would guess most outfitters will be very close in pricing. Not too much going on within a short distance of the Buffalo, but maybe someone else can help you out with that. Good luck, sounds fun!
  21. Plan on doing something along those lines a couple nights next week. Nice bonus 'eye
