  1. My buddy sells boats and from a resale standpoint BassTracker is the best. Even though those other boats might be better quality built he has trouble selling other brands. Lund is a great seller on deep V.
  2. Ketchup. I know you want as many boats as possible but I think you are on to something with a tin boat only tournament.
  3. No glass boats may enter Table Rock from these 7 cities. Bella Vista,Bentonville,Rogers,Kansas City, St.Louis,Joplin and Springfield. ?
  4. I believe those are Beavers. They can trash a dock in a hurry.
  5. I've always heard that the wireless trolling motors have a slower response time than traditional trolling motors and that's why pro fishermen don't use them. There are situations where they will be fighting a fish out of shallow water and turn their trolling motors toward deeper water to keep fish from getting tangled in trees, brush, docks or brush. Are the new ones quicker to respond?
  6. Glad I'm not the only one that has seen one. Had no idea they were in this area. They are awesome animals. Wonder if they stay in the same area all the time or move around?
  7. Is it possible that I saw an otter just south of Holiday Island ? Are there otters in Table Rock or White River? I know it was an Otter but I've never seen or heard anyone else mention them. I was pretty close to it and it was walking in the trees near a point.
  8. I said Oklahoma too. Arkansas river and Kerr are super shallow
  9. Considering getting shallow water anchors. I fish in Oklahoma quite a bit as well as Beaver and Table Rock. Any recommendations?
  10. I've noticed Phoenix, basscat and nitro so far.
  11. Hook line and Sinker couldn't give those Whopper Ploppers away before they got discovered. They were in their clearance bin.
  12. Great looking fish
  13. I signed up and picked the winning team. I prefer green pumpkin on all my baits folks so keep that in mind when you are sending me the winnings at the end of the season. ?
  14. I'm afraid all those guys with big fishing company sponsors get help. I heard KVD has a guy that prefishes lakes before he gets there. Not sure it's true but it wouldn't surprise me.
  15. There is a time and place for all applications. It's up to us to figure it out. I prefer a jig myself but last fall on Grand they were suspended under docks. My buddy was throwing a Spinnerbait and I was using a drop shot. He would sometimes miss a fish and I would follow up with a DS and catch them almost every time. It was a blast.
  16. Stick to the subject Champ?
  17. I have drop shot tied on every time I get the boat wet. If I'm going down a bank and I come across a dock I will always try one around the outside edges and in an open stall.
  18. If you want a chance to do bottom fish and suspended fish try putting a shakey head on bottom and drop shot up top. Make leader slightly longer. Weedless weight with hook. Might get lucky and get two at one time. That setup would be better with those drop shot hooks that swivel to prevent line twist.
  19. I've had good luck with the jewel brand. They are tear drop shaped. Seem to get hung up a little less than the ball style. Haven't used cylinder type much. They all get hung up fairly easy and with light line you better have plenty of weights no matter which style you go with because you will lose some.
  20. I got a rebate plus Zero percent on my truck a little over a year ago. I trade quite a bit but there are no deals like I got anywhere. I think I'm gonna hold on to this one for a while. Prices are getting out of hand on any kind of vehicle now a days. I don't know how people afford two new vehicles and a new boat. They must be in debt up to their eyeballs. Speaking of financing 20 years on a boat. My buddy buys and sells boats and he was looking at tritoon not to long ago. The owners of the boat were almost $20k upside down. That is crazy!
  21. He lives in Bella Vista. Now everyone knows where to go for a potential big sack. Problem is that people fish there that aren't supposed to. It will get hammered.
  22. I went in one cove and fished everything thoroughly. I was in there for at least 2 hours. I fished slow and tried a bunch of things on every transition, dock or structure I came across. I gave everything a decent chance.
  23. Don't feel bad. I went to Grand on Saturday and had similar results. Out there all day. Caught 3. 17 inch Kentucky on a Wiggle Wart shallow, 4lbr on a jig in 25 ft and a dink in 12 ft on a jig. No wind. It was tough. Couldn't establish a pattern. I had A-rig,drop shot,2 Jerkbaits, squarebill,Shakey head, jig and rock crawler tied on. Strange day.
