  1. Man, Back in the day fishing Zetabait Red Shad 8 inch worms ALL DAY long around the cypress trees in Bayou Pigeon down in the Spillway. Good Times.
  2. The frog fishing is what I want to be there for. I love frog fishing. I should have dedicated myself to it more when I lived where it worked better.
  3. I've always called the fish that have the colors of rainbow and dots everywhere AND the orange slashes under the jaw "Cut Bows". Of course, you might NOT want the guy from Louisiana detailing trout species.
  4. Lol, I think the trolls on OA have worked hard to develope the reputation they have. You'll have to try harder than that.
  5. Trout Crack was such a good pattern and then suddenly no one said anything about it anymore.
  6. I think they were JawTecs. I still have some of the lizards in the original packaging somewhere. I of course got the paddletails off a close out table and once they were gone, they were gone.
  7. That company was local when I lived in West Monroe, La so of course I fished them, but I was more fond of the ones out of Florida. Maybe Zetabait. I aslo had some Gambler ones I liked and Rob Kilby had a paddletail that I really liked. I fished thru 2 bags of Red Shad (15 or 18 count bags) in a day down at Venice. I was catching 3 of 4 fish per worm. It was about as good a day as I can ever remember. Of course, I've had some really great days since moving up here too. None of the bass were over 4 pounds, but a lot of 14-18 inch marsh bass. It was SWEET!
  8. The worms of yester year seemed to really favor durability over functionality. That dittio worm seemed really tough to me. Man do I ever wish I was flipping paddletail worms to Roseau cane down at Venice. It can be so good. Like 100 fish a day good.
  9. I think Jason even deer hunts with a fly rod.
  10. You'd have to search Craigs List in all the larger cities within a days drive and keep an ear to the ground. A lot of ppl have those boats and they are just a thing thats in the way at some point.
  11. I really want to fish Guntersville in the early fall one of these years.
  12. Another great trip for you guys.
  13. It looks like the right person could go around buying used royalex boats at the right price and resell them for a profit. You would need to know the market and have cash to make the initial inventory happen.
  14. Who knows, maybe Spro will make enough Rock Crawlers before Spring of next year so that everybody can go buy a couple dozen.
  15. I fished the White one day when the were running about 22,000. It pulled the up current edge of your boat down when you ran across the river. Creepy.
  16. I'd park my butt in the creeks and jig fish the current seams. Smoke em.
  17. I'm hoping for another wonderful spring on BSL. 660 is magic in the spring. 664 would be even better.
  18. That;s funny. How many CFS is that? Try the White river below BSL when they are running 20,000 CFS.
  19. I really want to limit my one way trailering trips to 14 hours or less. I really prefer an hour of less, but once or twice a year, I can do a L O N G trip.
  20. I want some of those Jimmy Houston spinnerbait bites where the fish comes up and snatches that spinnerbait near the surface.I love a visual spinnerbait bite.
  21. I don't eat my pets, but I'm not able to go bang out 47 crappie at the drop of a hat either. I'm seriously jealous of that.
  22. Dang Son!
  23. It's what I would buy if I was looking for an aluminum boat.
  24. Phil, look at a Center console boat with a front and rear elevated deck. I would think that G3 or War Eagle offer that. I would want 18 foot. a 20 foot Supreme fishes three like nobody's business, but you asked about Al++.
  25. Punch baits are funny. Basically any piece o crap that gets thru the ceiling and drops in front of a fish gets whacked. Guys used to use centipedes as punch baits. The Gambler BB craw has been around how long?
