I would love to fish Sylamore, but access is very limited. There is a section that connects to the White River. It has decent LMB and SMB, but they are pretty educated and when warm enough it is a community swimming hole. The creek loads with trout in the winter. I had fun with waders and a flyrod when there was 10 inches of snow on the ground

I like alliteration more than the avg person, but you keep dragging some of my favorite fish down. Barramundi are (to me) a dream fish. Short Bus Gar are interesting, but not in the same league.

It was surprising manageable with the listed flow level. Water was still a pleasant temp.
