I don't think your experience has been typical. I've been in a few times and always been treated pretty nicely. They would get a lot of my cash if they were in Mountain Home, AR instead of Springfield , MO. Sorry you had a bad experience. My understanding is that it is a FREE seminar. You could go without spending any money there. Just a thought.

What the heck? You're always off the water by 3 PM. You should have said " I'll be there if my dog can attend also. I love your dog. I give him permission to go.

I wish I could go. I failed to get his autograph when I met him. In all seriousness, he is the Man. If you are Ned curious, go and learn. It will change your Life. Well...Ned fishing changed my life for the better.

I am Ham and I'd always suggest Zig Jigs if you are a Thump Junkie like me, but drift rigs with worms will most definitely get some bites. As with any fishing, pay attention to what you are doing so that when you get bit, you can repeat that behavior and most likely get more bites. It should not be difficult. You should catch fish.

They certainly were the first two games. That can change in a hurry BUT I really believe This Pens team has bought in to the Coach's system and they are going to continue to work hard and play team hockey. They are taking a minimum amount of penalties which is HUGE. I think besides a late flukey goal the only way the Sharks beat the Pens is with Power Play goals. Don't give the Sharks many Power Play chances and do fairly well on the PK and it should be good. IF and it is a BIG IF, the Pens can steal one game in the Shark Tank, it is pretty much over. They say the hardest win to get is the 4 th one though.

Woot Woot! Pens were the better team again. They stressed me out again because Martin Jones stops too many of the shots. Sooooo, they had to go to OT to get things done. Fun stat: 90% of the teams that start 2-0 go on to win the Cup. One game at a time, but let's see if the Pens can steal a game in San Jose. I'm starting to get annoyed with the San Jose's coach. He basically continues to say, we're The better team we just haven't played well enough yet. He very reluctantly gives the Pens any credit.

I've used Baby Torps and Tiny Torps as buzz baits NOT perfect but effective.

I blindside hit with a shoulder to his head. Not a legal check. I get that checking is a part of the game. I don't think that concussions from hits when the head is targeted should be a part of the game.

The pressure ratchets up with every game. The Game 1 win was huge, but the Pens need another win tonight. It's business as usual until the home team loses and then the drama really starts. THIS Penguins team will do the hard work every game; hopefully that leads to 4 wins in this series. I hope the Pens get some Puck Luck. They had a lot of chances where a stick just barely deflected the puck or the puck just barely caught Jones pad instead of getting to the net. If Martin Jones keeps giving the Pens those juicy rebounds, Hornqvist will get some goals, Kunitz will get some too. Not to mention Kessel.

I am not aware of changes to the body shape. I wonder if the visual differences might be a factor of which size they photographed? Some of the colors are only offered in the giant sized one or maybe they photographed some in the 90 and other ones in the 130.

I really appreciate them adding more colors. NOT

League declined to address the cheap shot to Rust. Players may take matters into their own hands if this stuff happens again.

I most def have more feather loss problems on the shiney heads, but I smack them into the water really hard to clear algae or moss off the jigs. I love the concept of a little flash and I'm sure it helps at times, but I'm usually ok with the number of looks I get using the old dull painted heads. The clean jig eye sure is nice. .

Yep, it is a 7 game series. While I am most certainly happy the Pens won Game 1, they need to win Game 2 to maintain home ice. I would be perfectly fine with the home team winning every game in the series. The knucklehead that took Rust out of the game said " I kept my elbow down and let him skate into me". I saw it live and I saw the replays. That's not what I saw. He blindsided Rust and targeted Rust's head with his shoulder.

How many Scouts will you have on the water? How many days? I'd lean Round Spring to Van Buren because I'm pretty comfortable that the water flow is going to move things along. That trip will provide some life long memories for those young men. Have a GREAT time!

The Good: Pens Win! Pens were the better team for the majority of the game. The stats say that the team that wins Game 1 wins 78% of the series. A little early for that kind of thinking, but I was very pleased with their play. Crosby had an excellent game. The Bad: They gave up yet another 2 goal lead. You have to know a push from San Jose is coming. They took a bad penalty and then gave up a PP goal putting San Jose back into the game. Murray made a bunch of key saves, but honestly both of the goals he allowed looked kinda soft to me. Especially the wrap around goal. Murray got so far out that he hung up on the outside of the cage and was unable to get over. The ugly: Rust is listed as day to day after he was targeted for a blindside head to the head. This kind of crap needs to stop. The players are so focused on short term wins and losses that they continue to injure each other this way. I'd love for that guy to get at least a Game suspension. Rust has been a really BIG part of their team making it really tough for teams to match up all four lines the Pens roll. We'll see how this plays out.

I'll hope for Pens in 7.

It sets up like the teams are evenly matched. I know that the majority of hockey "experts" are picking San Jose. And in my heart of hearts, I am very concerned. To be completely honest, I feel like the Pens are playing with house money. They were not expected to get here, but now that they are I sure hope they find a way. Sharks have an advantage on D (depth) and on the Power Play. Pens are better in net and overall team speed. I expect the Sharks to keep Crosby off the score sheet for the most part, but the 3 rd and 4 th lines of the Pens will score. pens need to stay off the PK and bury some chances. If the Pens lose another defenseman, they are in a world of hurt.

Pretty easy to tie up. I had a good trip on a gray one 1/8 oz on Bull Shoals. Some of us have been hyper finessful since 1986.
-
I can or you can. We have a day or two and need to educate myself on the Sharks a little bit.

Dave sets the hook hard enough that he has adjusted his rod choices to offset that monster hookset. I like to set the hook, but as I hit the fish I ease up a little. I really don't have hookset issues with Nanofil.
-
Yes, yes he does. If you think you set the hook hard, you haven't seen Dave set the hook.

I try to always wear the pfd when the big motor is running and have the kill switch attached. Getting chewed up by that Pro XS is NEVER on my list of things to do.

Hockey Players are more superstitious than fisherman. I could give a crap about Crosby holding the POW Cup. THey won it, they should all skate around the rink with it if they wanted to do so. It isn't Lord Stanley's Cup, but it is a big deal. Loved the Pens effort. I wish they could have buried a couple more of their chances so that I would not have been stressed out the entire Third period. They had dominated, but left TB close so that a flukey play could have robbed them of their spot in the Finals. Let's all catch our breath and get ready for the Finals.

it seemed a lot better in 2014. This year it was a lot more "bros and hoes". I get that most there are going to be younger than me, but I just did not expect it to be as much of a greek life outdoor singles bar as it was. One day got altered by weather (lingering Thunderstorm) and one day was really, really hot, but other than that weather wasn't too much of an issue. Big Grams was great. Matt and Kim was crazy goodness. Grimes blew me away. I really, really enjoyed The Wailers. The Neighboorhood was good. Cage was fantastic. Lenny Kravitz was better than expected. Grouplove was good as always. Jason Isabell just didn't do it for me, but folks were going crazy. Alabama Shakes was good, but not my favorite honestly. This years line up is not great, but keep an eye on Loufest. Sometimes that is a great festival.
