  1. Man, I feel Bad about pulling them up from 35
  2. If you get 7 responses on topic on a thread, you've done well. I love jig pole fishing for crappie, but water is usually too clear at Bull Shoals to catch em that way. I have mostly been swimming small jigs with Bobby Garland Baby Shad slow and steady. Recently however, a fishing Buddy opened my eyes to the effectiveness of a jigging spoon on deeper stuff. so I have a few ways to try for them
  3. That's ok Jeff , I won't go if it's less than 15 degrees
  4. I think Oete had to wash his hands after reading your post
  5. Fish where I've been fishing, I promise you won't see that
  6. I need to fish the Kaskaskia
  7. Super Day on the water. Those are some Great fish.
  8. I know that a 20 inch walleye from Stockton isn't the same as a 20 inch walleye from Bull Shoals. Way more meat on the Bull Shoals fish.
  9. Wut !!!!
  10. Man o man, that's such a Good sign to have a bunch of "barely shorts" in the system. All those fish will be legal keepers in the Spring.
  11. Hey Mark, clear some mail. I couldn't send you a PM. Ham
  12. It's a beatdown for sure. Physical challenging when conditions are Good and Life Threatening on days like the one you guided me on. What it lacks in visual appeal, it makes up in Grass Carp. I only wish it had more snakes amongst those miserable boulders.
  13. Lots more information available than used to be, but is still some information that is known only to a limited few
  14. Beautiful Sauger!
  15. TBF, as difficult as it is to get a boat in the water at > 684, I don't think Bull had normal fishing traffic through the summer. to everything there is a season, I like to fish BSL when the water temp is 75 and dropping to 40 degrees and then in the Spring when it is > 45 degrees until the water gets lousy with water skiers. I LOVE Bull Shoals, but I also want to fish everywhere else too.
  16. I'm Sorry for their loss. I loss My Mom to a sudden health event and my Dad after a lengthy, miserable decline. Both were terrible losses for me, but I wouldn't wish my Dad's fate on anyone.
  17. I agree wholeheartedly
  18. Schedule is finally out. I work the weekend, but I have Friday off. I might also fish Thursday.
  19. Some variety of Redhorse, but we need better pics. Need to see whole fish, dorsal fin, and relaxed mouth from underneath. we also need to know the drainage to know what our list of possibles. I think Silver, but who knows
  20. Hey ! It's George
  21. 106) Yellow Bass ( Pokiyou maximuss) Surprise catch from today. Of course, a lengthy drive was involved. I caught three in just a little bit. I somehow managed to catch every member of the temperate Bass family this year.
  22. That's pretty cool
  23. I got you! I can put you on them, but I can't bring the fish to you.
  24. This really was the last year I was going to dedicate myself to the 100 species quest. I am so Pleased that I was able to get there. I certainly didn't get there without the help from friends. I doubt I would have gotten to 100 species without that help. I hope to catch a few more species and a LOT more fish before the year is over, but I'm certainly a lot less stressed now.
