I know that we are getting off topic here, but when you fish a Caddis for the bluegill, do you let it sit still or give it some movement? I can't wait to take my four year old out and let him play with some bluegill on the fly rod this summer!
Ahhhh, the only farm club that gets to play with teams in the MLB. The front office will have unloaded 3/4 of anyone with any talent a la Damon Beltran and Greinke well before '13.
Try as I might to be a Royals fan I just can't bring myself to it with the way they shoot themselves in the foot over and over with the same patterns. Maybe after we me to KC I will become a fan....
I know it isn't what you are looking for, but for a quick fix in the meantime I have seen guys that tie up at the pavilion at Taney use those big ol' Plano boxes with all the drawers and compartments.
Eric, I am interested, but don't know if they would fit my little kiwi (sticking with the better tasting, more exotic fruit comparisons you see) head. Could you measure the distance from inside hinge to inside hinge please???
Hey Jeff welcome aboard! I can't believe you are just now buying fly gear coming from down in the gulf I can't wait till I get back down there so I can get after some redfish on the fly! Sadly, the last few years when we had been down there I hadn't gotten into fly fishing yet.
In their defense, that was the day (or after) that it was poured, definitely not finished. I leaned over to yellow caution tape adorning the perimeter so as to capture detail of the boot brush area with the camera phone. I have not been back to see the finished product. Maybe someone even more local could snap a more current pic??
Sounds good, Sean. Chances are looking good that I will be able to make it. If I am there I will be in a white Jeep Commander and will probably have an orange pack on my back.
BPS has one on sale for $69 and change as part of the spring fishing event. Not sure, but I think it might even be the Lost Lake model that exiled has. If it's not, it would still be hard to beat for the money.
Oh and welcome. Where ya from?
p.s. Best move EVER by taking your wife on that guided trip. Now she will understand why you never want to spend a weekend with her (unless she goes with you) .
How much wadable water is left at your place with flows in this 700-800 range? I am trying to swing a trip down this weekend and still haven't convinced a victim fishing buddy to spring for the drifter (and with the weather having turned I bet someone else will be in it).
lol we have all been looking at it as it was updated. I can vouch for FFM that the link was not there at the time he posted it here. I followed it and in the top right all that was there was the firewood advisory, saw your post (mic) and clicked refresh on the still open webpage from FFMs link and poof there it was
I tied #20 on my last hook last night. After work and a stop by Fowkes I will crank out the last 4.
Pictorial evidence that they do exist (disregard the little red original inhabitant of the box):
