I know they supplement stock for sure on Stockton , they have to to keep that one going
The Dept. wanted to make sure there was a place for people to catch and keep walleyes --- It is my thought that MO and AR could have some of the best walleye fishing in the nation with a bit more investment from the Department they grow year round this far south
Thanks Jeb for telling them to add the Walleye tackle , and yep , sounds like a good deal on the 8 Lowrance unit ,I paid over 1,000 more for my 10 and has proved to be a great investment -- more times than not I can tell someone "get ready an eyes gonna' bite in a second " and Wham!!
RPS, I've fished with Mike , he is a great guide on BSL caught 2 7 + pounders the day I fished with him and learned alot -- he was well worth the money and a heck of a nice guy too ---- just want to learn TR and Beaver cause they are closer
CMF, why is that? I would think that one being up stream and one down stream that the eye fishing might be pretty good on TR -- I like BSL for the size for sure and lots of boaters on Beaver and sure TR has more than its share this time of year too, just thought TR might be worth a try, seeing that some have been getting caught , it would be a 3hr drive for me and any help deffinatly is appreciated --
Yep, think y'all making me want to go to TR and find a few walleyes -- have never fished there is this a good time of year to fish the points around the dam?
Makes sense I guess :/ but they do mark other danger areas on the lake like swimming areas ,the dams and no wake zones as examples, just think it would help save a life someday , a pile of rocks sure isn't a good idea though -- thank you to you or whom ever knocks it down
I'm with Mike Worley on this one on the bait caster " Abu Garcia black max combo" is what I use and braid the perfect set up for jigging and harness troll'in -- I can really feel those finicky bites and cheaper on the wallet than most combs
WM, yep - wanted to stop by and see how fishing has been for ya' this year, try to catch up with you next time -- sure was a nice weekend on the lake, so nice I may go back up on Friday night or Sat. AM if wife and I can shake loose from "honey dos"
I went after the walleyes, wife and I fished bout 8hrs total , caught 5 short eyes , 2 keeper eyes , ,one 11" crappie ,4 channel cats and 3 bass.We fished around the thermocline mostly used harness rigs
Good Walleyes on Table Rock by what some of you are saying -- I've never fished it but think
I'll give it a try , any ideas on where, when and what to try?
I like both -- Bull for size and Stockton for numbers . On Bull fish the same as ya' fish on Stockton , I wouldn't change what's been working
Difference I've found is Bull is alot clearer so you may need to fish deeper --
