  1. Now I just know I am asking to have my fuel pump diaphrams disintegrate and clog up my carbs. But I run a 1974 75-hp Chrysler that I overhauled in 1992 that, so far, has had no issues related to alchohol in fuel.
  2. Cricket, I am happy for you. Congratualtions.
  3. GotMuddy, I wasn't the first to bring that up in this post but I am honored that I am being quoted, here.
  4. Isn't this more government interventionism? And isn't this going to make for bigger government? And what ABOUT the poor SOB who is a responsible occasional drug user?
  5. You could just match the size of the wire that is connected to the trolling motor from the factory.
  6. When was the court date on this?
  7. You know, in my opinion, if he was out for the money that is one thing. But just wanting attention is indicative of a repulsive individual. I suspect the next time we see him he will be running for office, somewhere.
  8. It is possible that "Windows XP Repair Box" was caused by the virus and if you clicked OK to let it run that is when the virus installed itself. It is difficult to determine where the virus came from. Was the IT department able to identify the name of the virus.
  9. Good Luck. Whiskey Joe
  10. Man ain't this somethin'. I was feeling awful high and mighty with my Vega and somebody is telling me about his Chevette.
  11. Thanks, I was curious. Carry on with the levity.
  12. OTF, I grew up fishing the Bourbeuse. An aunt has a clubhouse downstream of Union. On Saturday I did a little wade fishing at Riekers Ford. I was checking it out to scope out the float to Meyers Landing. I am building a cedar strip canoe that I haven't fouled up yet. Did you have to drag the canoe much? (I just ain't gonna drag this canoe...at least at first) And how long did it take?
  13. TC, All levity aside: Is PBR really all that?
  14. Ice would have chlorine in it which, I imagine, would not be good for fish.
  15. Hey, I am going on that. But I am hanging (so to speak) with the gals.
  16. And there are the cicadas. I observed them just flying into the water. I actually heard fish say "Oh please, I cannot eat another cicada."
  17. I always assumed the information did come from someone local. If so, that is where the problem lies and not MDC.
  18. What if you can't do either?
  19. And I have always said: "You can lead a truck to water but you can't make him drink."
  20. HuckFinn, At what point in the process are you getting the error the the file is too large?
  21. jdmidwest, Was that on CR 203 near Cascade? I heard there was a shooting there but I assumed it was people that just had a disagreement. Was it, in fact, a floater/landowner confrontation? That was an interesting place to go people-watching on a hot day. That is until my dumb-butt dog hiked his leg on the back of some dude. He did look like a tree, though. My buddy and I walked back out of there backwards.
  22. Ohhhhh but Boggs blew that save last night. St. Louis is a baseball town but cannot tolerate closers who are not one hundred percent.
  23. Make sure you get a deep-cycle battery and not a cranking battery. To make a decision regarding capacity determine how long you will use it between recharges and how much weight you are willing to carry. They are full of lead, you know.
  24. Thanks for the comments on the canoe, but I have made my share of mistakes. I do believe it will function as a canoe, though. No we are no relation to the Franklin County Unnerstalls, at least in this country. They got here first. A Frank Unnerstall enlisted in the Civil War from Washington, MO. I am from the Unnerstalls of Baden, a neighborhood in North St. Louis. I still live in the area but it has changed bit.
  25. Actually I did start it. It ain't perfect but I don't see any reason it won't float. I have some pictures on Facebook and they provide a link whereby non-members can access it: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=25776&id=100001533025115&l=8dea43b04b
