I bought a 1979 Chrysler Bassboat that is sound mechanical condition a couple of years ago. It’s just that every couple of hours the automatic bilge pump kicks on and moves a gallon or two of water out. I would assume if I were to disconnect the pump and run some water into my boat, while in the driveway, I could find where it is coming in. It gets out on the water about a dozen times a year and only once a year, on average, does it stay in a slip for any length of time. But my question is "Is it worth all the trouble." I guess that would depend upon where it is leaking but does anyone have any advice on this?
