  1. I ordered from TW last Sunday afternoon..... got it today.....I'm in northern Illinois. I can live with that.
  2. I wouldn't use a debit card on the internet........ just a heads up.
  3. Johnny Morris has a huge influence on Southwest Missouri. He has created jobs and through his investments in the area, has directly or indirectly, helped other small businesses in the area thrive. You are lucky to have him there.
  4. I don't understand why all of you guys are are speculating about all the billions of dollars of cash and charity. Your acting like you just won the lottery. NONE of us has any skin in the game. I would venture to guess that 99.9 % of us on this forum are not independently wealthy. I'm comfortable, but if I gave away 95% of my "wealth", I would be in the poor house. I see no sense in arguing about it as this "merger" is WAY out of our league! As I said earlier in this thread, I really like tackle warehouse and am probably 80% e-commerce.
  5. Just received my order from tackle warehouse this afternoon!
  6. Bo, In our neck of the woods, we call that an Ontario release...... they count!
  7. It works fine on lakes and rivers that monitor.
  8. I too have a Uniden marine radio on my boat and used to have it turned on. I have never heard a peep out of it even though I was monitoring channel 16. Don't use it anymore. Called out for a radio check and nobody was home!
  9. Where's the guy that was in it? Hope he's okay!
  10. , Lowrance. I put an Elite 7 HDI chirp at the helm and an Elite 5 HDI chirp on the bow last summer. They have sonar and down scan. I love them both and they didn't break the bank. There are lots of nice features on these units. The GPS mapping is nice and I'm running a navonics chip. Having the same unit front and rear makes programming them easier. I'm down at the rock this week and have played with them a lot. I'm up the James and drop shotting has produced the most fish. 25 to 35 on chunk rock and gravel flats.
  11. Pepe , Name and address for your offer. Bob Kraft 751 Mather Ln. Batavia Il. 60510....( Rodmaker )

  12. A very nice gesture Peep.... Thanks
  13. Oh my, more lures to buy! When will it end!
  14. Pardon my French here, but anyone that "cheats" in a fishing tournament should have their rod and reel shoved up their butt. I'm sorry, but that's the way I feel.
  15. Bo, what brand of spin jigs do you like? Trailer?
  16. Boy, I sure opened up a CAN of worms. I just wondered If there was some sort of " normal" drawdown. I guess not. I have a buddy that has a place on Lake Hamilton in Arkansas. In talking to him, he says they start drawing down the lake on a specific date....... like November 5th.(guessing on date). They take it down about 12', and there it stays till spring. His dock is out of the water all winter.(not a floater). I guess₡ I just figured there was some rhyme or reason to it. I'll be down there on my annual trip in a couple of weeks. I'll be in a blue and white hurricane deck boat sitting on the bow with my trolling motor. Stop and say Hi if you all see me. I would enjoy meeting some of you folks. 2 1/2 years to retirement and I should be down there for good. Can't wait!
  17. I was down there in March of that year. Lake was down 14'. I took alot of photos myself. Pretty amazing what gets exposed.
  18. When does the corps typically start drawing down the lake for winter. I'm coming down the last week of October, and with the lake already down over 2', I'm curious as to what might the projected level at that point in time.
  19. Phil, I'm coming down the week of October 22 to the 29. We will be staying at a resort on the rock, but would like to come down to your place one of those days for a little trout fishing. We would be renting one of your boats.  (3 of us). Would we need advanced reservations for that. How's the trout fishing that time of year? I come down every year, but not usually that late in the season.                                                                              Thanks, Bob Kraft

  20. Awesome photo of that wall cloud! Pretty cool.
  21. Quill, what brand of spin jigs do you like? Willow blade?
  22. Kind like smelt...... which are great table fare.
  23. Warmouth?
  24. Hideaway marina usually has them right on the gas dock, but that's probably way out of your way.
  25. Thought it was weird that this post from 2\15 popped up.
