  1. Spotted the A5 right off, I have my father in laws.
  2. Is that a browning?
  3. From the end of pavement to the water is really rough, best with a 4 wheel drive.
  4. Yeap, I see it.
  5. Well I know my wife, and she wants rings and bracelets on her not fish hooks on her when dies.
  6. Yeah, if those are fish hooks, I would like see the knot they used to tie a line on them.
  7. Those arent fish hooks. they are nose rings.
  8. Google Quackenbush Air guns.
  9. I got the 34P back when the combo(scope etc.) was about 225.00, now airgun depo has gone up to 399.99, bit of a change, didnt realize what the prices had done in the last few years. Just checked, they are cheeper at Pyramid air.
  10. If old plugs RWS has the TO 6 trigger like mine, it was so nice out of the box that I left it as is, didnt adjust it at all, best trigger they have put in one.
  11. http://www.gamousa.com/reviews.aspx?productID=107 https://www.airgundepot.com/airgun-scope-mounts.ht
  12. I always assumed that it was barrel breaking in. but you got me thinking. May be, its the spring and piston smoothing out so the movement of them is consintant in their travel?
  13. Same here also.
  14. Well if it was me, sorry.
  15. That was a really good try, Wrench. Too bad it didnt work.
  16. Flight of dark specks just went overhead. heading of 160 degrees, 2000 AGL, est. 65-70 knots. 50-60 birds in the flight. ( Was sitting on back deck, drinking coffee. thinking about old airplane we used to have. ).
  17. One of Links Landing owners had some big cats back in the 70's.
  18. No problems with mine, Old Plug, I tighten it down good and used loctite on it, the blue I think.
  19. I was referring to the internals in the scope, but yeah, its hard on mounts also.
  20. In a spring gun, you have a heavy piston accelerating forward, then slamming to a halt, so there are forces back and forward, thats the recoil you feel, and the reason a normal scope wont hold up. Most scopes arent braced for the forward "recoil".
  21. The compressed guns are easier to shoot for someone just starting with airguns. There is a learning curve with a springer, because of all the movement of spring and piston before the pellet leaves the muzzle. Both are very accurate. Compressed airguns can have a higher fps.
  22. Wait, rethought that exit port idea, might not reduce fts, pressure still would have to exit out the barrel pushing the pellet, so, I dont know.
  23. I have a single pump RWS 34. No regulator. One pump thats all, around 700 fts. They advertise 1000 fts, but that is always with the lightest pellet, 700 or 800 is more realistic. Would think a larger exit port would reduce fts, like a garden hose. On pump guns, i never noticed any change with the speed of pumping. I dont know much about the PCP airguns, thats a different system. Seems like you can regulate pressure on some of them, but could be wrong. w
  24. I agree Wrench, you are adding variables to the normal cycle, how they balance out, I dont know, but interupting the compression piston stroke might balance out any gain gotten from the ignition of the lube. Or there might not be any gain if the stroke is interrupted early on, Dont have a clue about flash point for the lube or pressure needed.
