Exactly FW, its like an Outboard engine. As long as it starts and sort of runs who cares if it sputters,,snorts, and the lower unit sounds like it's full of rocks and dies on occasion,,as long as it runs and the owner/operator is happy with it what else is there, send it out the door and back home.š³ļø

Beenie Weenie another of those oddball things I like. Just thinking about it reminds me of riding in the truck/boat and fishing with Dad.

I see there are still tournaments going on.

LOL I wouldnt give up that day job working on boats just yet. -
Having a desire sir somerhing a little different tonight, but not willing to miss out on a good piece of red meat. Thawed out a couole rib steaks and tenderizer it thoroughly, and seasoned lightly. Have a cast iron skillet heating up on gas grill waiting for quick hot action with the rib steaks. Wife also made an apple pie. For many years she would make an apple pie because my mom was THE apple pie maker, but with mom unable to make them she finally relented! Well didn't get skillet hot enugh for a nice sear, but did get it beautifully med rare, tender and tasty. The pie is killing me right now, just out of oven and too hot to eat, and no vanilla ice cream in house. I may be on way to town momentarily for ice cream. Close one but crisis averted, speed run to Dollar General, no vanilla but did have some Edys carmel delight.

Does anyone else see the irony that a guy who had sex with 6 women at one time has the handle of Oneshot. As for politicians I put them several steps below prostitutes, you are still gonna get screwed but at least the prostitute is up front about it.

Pretty darn good for a bad day. My GOOD days usually are not nearly that good.

Not even remotely would I include the Chinese Govt. They are a completely different critter, about which I know exactly nothing, except that I would not be surprised at anything they are capable of.

Not gonna lie, the phrase "fell on th back of my shoulder", just about makes me wet my pants right now thinking abut how much it would hurt.

LOL, I used to really enjoy conspiracy theories, kind of like watching Pro Wrestling or laughing at a buddy who falls in the mid working cattle. Anymore I realize way too many people are way too into them for me to enjoy them as much. When it comes to conspircies that are "government run" in my 30 plus years of experience I have yet to see anything that even remotely convinces me that a government un conspiracy could be done withut there being 16 articles in varius magazines from Playboy to Stars and Stripes, at least one 60 minutes eisode, a made for tv movie and likely action figures available.

Thinking These Are Better Than Hollow Point
MOPanfisher replied to oneshot's topic in Weapon Discussions
I have seen those but not used any. I am old school, .45 ACP with either a big flag cast lead bullet or 230 gr HP. Course I like my little Taurus .357 as well with some softer loaded HPs. Hope to never know how well they work on bad guys. -
Dude! KU folks are deciding what amount of repairs my arm needs, from a steel rod through with screws to full proximal humerus replacement. As soon as they can get CT scan to determine if there is enough solid bone to hold screws they are willing to get started, COVID or not, said it won't wait or the fracture will progress in to complete break and then it will be ugly and painful, with less choices. I haven't been a week since early March without at least 2 trips to Dr/City, seems like every visit reveals something else that is changing what/when they have to do first. I just want to get started on it already.

I suspect the truth, whatever it is will be out there. Problem is there will also be a thousand half truths, partial truths and a bunch of just silly ideas and conspiracy theories. All we gotta do is figure out which are which. Think I will.worry about getting arm fixed and new meds so i can just go on with my life, all the important people can worry about the rest. Cold weather this morning is making things ache, so they can just bite me!

BH the walmarts I have been in didn't have to wait to get in, weren't overly busy and had about everything including TP. I don't pay a lot of attention to meat bins cause in have a half beef in freezer, but do look to see if they have a big salmon fillet on sale or anything. Meat bins appeared to be well stocked, at least there eras plenty of meat, not sure one any particular item. We do try to hit them at less busy times, but sometimes it just whatever time it is when I get out of Dr. Office. When went to KU In Wed we didn't even slow down on way out of town until Clinton.

I remember that cheese and peanut butter too. Was absolutely the ugliest, non appetizing looking stuff ever. But dang it was tasty, and in big ole blocks. The peanut butter wasn't as good,,could pour off the oil, and it was a little musty. But thick slices of that pale cheese made it into many a lunch in the hayfield and fishing boat, sliced by some of the greasiest dirty locket knives that ever gathered lint in a pocket. Most of our kitchen knives weren't up to the task of working off a hunk or slice.

If I had the ability and mobility I had in January I would be fishing a LOT more right now. If it weren't for the virus I would go get my grandson and we would wear our selves put fishing and such. He is 6 and doesn't quote understand, son and daughter came up to help with a few things but he wasn't allowed to come with them, because we all Kew he and I would be together and inseparable while here. I need some more time with him while I still can. Told him once when he was old enough we would move to a cave and live on squirrels cooked on a stick over a fire. He was a bit concerned but willing to go. Dang I miss that boy, our time is coming little man.

Well I did get 2 mineral tubs filled with good black dirt and a spot leveled to set them. Now I got a get them wrasseled into bucket of tractor so I can move them. Then 2 more. Think I have wife convinced to just plant squash and cukes in old garden spot and let them fight for their living. Had a squash plant last year growing over fence in pasture that did well so maybe these will too, will just mow around them for this year to keep accessible.

She doesn't like the Boost stuff, gotta admit I am not fond of it either, during my transplant they reccomend it, blech, tried warm, cold and the only way I could stand it was mixed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mom will drink a little of it, whatever she gets is still good.

Dang, where was you with that I formation when I was a kid!.. I caught them with a 3 foot piece if wire with a hook to grab their feet with. Head chopping wasn't bad, after dad and I holdING hem uside down for a minute they was pretry calm, and would stretch their little heads out on a block of wood. Still have my favorite head removing hatchet, saw it today in th shed. I won't lie and say I never laughed at them jumping around with their heads chopped off, sisters screaming and running away etc. I think we MAY have done close to 100 one day, but mostly like 48 or so at a time, otherwise we ran out of bu keys and pots etc to soak them in while processing, and I think Dad would get tired of it, don't know if we could ever outlast grandma.

Yep, foxes used to be bad, but cats and dogs killed a LOT. Partly why a chicken killing dog is still a dead dog. LOTS of memories butchering chickens, I was one who enjoyed it because as the chicken caretaker, every one that got butchered was one more I didn't have to take care of. I was really good at catching them, got pretry good at head chopping, never tried to be good at plucking them but can still turn a whole chicken into frying pieces in just a few minutes. Mom and grandma didn't have no time to waste on slow learning kids. And unusual for some we always had fried chicken for super on kill days, later dad built a grill out of some old truck rims and we would begin butchering them as soon as they got big enough that one spit in half was just right to eat. Dang just thinking about it brings back the smell of wet chicken feathers!

I support the Crown Royal, but Diet Coke, communist!

Have raised a LOT of chickens and there are no nastier, dumber, or stinker critter alive. Good thing they are also tasty. Haven't raised them in several years and don't miss them things one bit.
