Not gonna lie I want a bra cup mask, problem you have to find the correct size donor. And I want a leopard print one, like I will just wear my sun buff thingy, or make one from a folded bandana, although they look really hard to breath through.

Working on supper for tonight. Thawed out a couple pork steaks, made a quick marinade with Dr. Pepper, soy sauce and what herbs aND spices caught my eye, after giving them a good tenderizing. Sides will be some sort of rice and whIle picking up some soda and papwt paltes at local DG I sorted a big can of turnip greens that called to me, o was craving greens, even canned ones. Wife is adding some extra bacon for them. Good tasty meal with only a few main ingredients, will add photo if I don't forget. While waiting I got to feeling saucy. So I made a sauce of apricot preserves, Hoisin, a space of malted vinegar and a splash of teriyaki sauce. Painted in on the just before they go to the grill, shook on a little house seasoning. Almost made a dipping sauce for my wife of dijon mustard and honey, not a big fan of it myself but she lies it and since she is spending a lot of time and effort on me lately gotta keep her happy.

Used to eat a ton of the egg sacks. Never got them to deep fry well they tend to pop apart and get sporty. But bback when mom skillet fried fillets she would lay fillets over them so they cooked up nice. darn they were good. Have made walleye eggs into a dip of sorts, boil a long time in crab boil then pick out all the membrane from the sacks mix in some olive oil and whatever spices you like, I generally went with cajun or garlic and dill. The texture is "different" to say the least but not bad. Haven't done it with crappie eggs.

Sapps and Fristoe should both be open. The old ramp in Warsaw usually reeks of spoonbill carcasses by now.

I love a good classic roast chicken with veggies. Taters and broccoli are perfect match.

Butter burgers and grilled bacon tonight. Toasted bread, provolone cheese, sliced red onion, slice mater, and some home made bbq sauce. So easy you can do it with one arm tied behind (or in my case in front of) your back. Sadly still had to have my wife bring it to.me after sitting down, and a paper towel bib was a necessity.
-
My wife had a fit at me wanting to garden at all, she is laying down the law how much I can have. Understandable since she will have to deal with most of it. She say 3 maters, couple squash and couple cukes. We will see, she threatned to punch my shoulder and with hold pain meds so I suspect she will win.

The tick never gets old for me. We used to launch at Browns Bend and go downstream to what we called Rainey Creek, always found plenty of fish in there. Lake O always seems to start first the Truman and then Pomme on he spawn. Fall even as recent as a couple years ago at Brown Bend was empty just before and during deer season, and the crappie were big and hungry, shooting docks mostly as you mentioned. Also is a window bank that would stack up with whites and hybrids, always a nice diversion when you get tired of catching big crappie.

Hmm, I have been there when they started generating back in early 90s and there was always a horn, but don't know about just increasing. Truman blows horn for increases, I have been there with just enough flow and then waaaaahhh, here comes another unit in line. Honestly I don't understand how it works. Used to be an automatic thing when a unit came on line it triggered the horn. Who knows.

Like a modified Burger/Wellington. How did it taste, looks good.

That first bend downstream by the big Rock has been the site of many a crappie slaughter with the occasional walleye thrown in. The big runner on the lake could have been a walleye but more likely a hybrid, they are hard to lan on UL gear if they don't turn for open water. But I simply cannot forgive the no pictures, some of are living vicariously hough those of you who are fishing! 😷

It's just an scheduled of expected generation. A need arises for electricity and they kick.some on, may have been a coal plan had to perform some maintenance, maybe no wind for the wind farms, maybe hot an everyone kicked on AC since they is stuck at home. The no horn is more concerning though. Send them an email might be something broke and they don't know.

I keep a pair of plain old jersey gloves in the truck to use fueling. When I get home they get a fresh hosing with lysol for nest time. The masks, wearing one may not be perfect but it won't hurt for sure. Oddly I only have a couple cheap ones, but I do have one of those sun buffs I could use if I can find it.

Smart choice!

I love white bass tacos. Grill them fillets with cajun seasoning let them cool and flake them apart. Mix up a tadziki sauce with a little citrus hit and some fresh greens from cold frame (lettuce radish and beet greens).mmmmm Red buds here in polk Co just starting to pop out.

I keep thinking I should get the password and check it out, but then I see an actual fishing report and am.over it.

Well it's a different road somewhat this time. But pretry much same scenery. Thankfully no bone marrow transplant this time. Will get an infusion f a new Super drug that takes 10 hours to receive! They want to make sure my body accepts it, apparently the body oerceivs it as an attack by some disease vector and want to combat it, so that sounds fun. then weekly for a while then every other week, not sure for how long. Thankfully it is in spfld not KC and no absolute quarantine this time. Dam I cannot wait to see a river or lake again, this fall will have to be soon enought I hope. Hang in there fellers the zombie virus can't last forever, keep posting pics of fish and fun stuff for me to see.

Things are beginning to happen. Near daily trips to pharmacy getting everything they have ordered. From high end anti acids, to steroids, to morphine tablets. 😷. KU took bone marrow monday, I meet with spfld dr next Monday to lay out the time table of what happens when. In between this Friday I meet with spfld Drs for a pre-something meeting about radiation on at least one lesion, so I guess it's kind of like why just have a brake job done on your car, let's do brakes, tires, service the transmission, bang out some dents and shoot paint on it while we got it here. Let it begin, I am ready as I am gonna be. COVID 19 kiss my butt.

I went to KC to give up some bone marrow and see a Dr. Was nearly the traffic as usual up there, not sure on way back as I was mstly asleep. Since I have Ben it of action one of the issues I have been having out here in God's Country is friends, neighbors, church members etc., wanting to come visit me, check on me, help do somerhing etc. I have to tell them I appreciate it but for now just stay away. Then 20 minutes later they pull into the driveway with a casserole or cookies or something. But hell if a kindly act is what takes me down, well I guess I will just be taken down.

They stock hybrids and I believe every 5th year they stock some pure stripers. They are a lot of fund and have turned a few bad fishing trips into a good time for me.

The courtesy docks at Bolivar Landing and Nemo are statuonary, they can't be pulled without a LOT of work. They are generally useable up to about 850 or so, Nemo may be a bit lower.

I love my Mucks for.cfort, but they are hot! Ticks, 👹 hate them miserable little things.

I went through St Louis several years ago, haven't seen the need to go back. Even opted for KU over Barnes Jewish for Cancer treatment partly because I just don't like St Louis and partly because at the time I had a Mother in Law in KC (whom I actually liked), and we could stay with her during treatment and my wife could have a stabilizer for her during that time. Sadly she has since moved to Michigan. While I can't say I particularly like KC I am much more comfortable there than other big cities, but would just as soon avoid them if at all possible.

Had some time today, and since it was so warm didn't want to use the oven. So the ham went it the smomer, along g with a couple slabs of spare ribs that we found in the freezer. Seasoned the ribs with some Rudys Rib rub that a friend from Texas sent me. Mopped them with apple juice with a little apple cider vinegar in it, then after a couole hours wrapped them in foil. The ham just got tossed in and bagged after a couole house sonic wouldn't dry out. Also a 1 yr old Border Collie who was given a rib be and told don't swallow it, before I even got the words out she had it turned lengthwise and poof it was gone without so much as a burp. I hunk that is her "not sorry" face.
-
Back when I was young I wore tennis shoes all year round, hunting fishing etc. Ruined a lot of socks with burrs etc. When they got wet I set them out to dry. Never knew any better, now I have several pairs of boots. How they support your feet are very important and good replacement insoles help. There are lots of mid height good quality hiking boots that should be a good middle ground, easy to slide into and lace up but have some support and can be leather or combining you prefer. Merrill, Vasque, Keen just to name a few.
