Don't know what water temp was since my temp Guage quit working.

Fished Indian Creek after the rain Satuday. Bite was tough so switched to a Ned rig. Caught all my fish in 8 to 12 ft.

Milfoil or fanwart possibly on the grass. I've noticed it as well. I've been here 20 years and not seen it before.

Me and my passenger are fine. Just found out the driver of the other boat has a punctured lung from a broken sternum. His passenger is home with some boat rash.

I had all my cash light on low light and lowrance unit on lowest light.

I did find that out after the fact and that is my fault I did not know it.

I did say they had neck and back injuries.other than that nothing else was appearant.

Last night I hit a boat that had no lights on just out from the eagle rock marina. My buddy had pointed out a boat by the bridge with no light on and next thing I know we hit something. It was another boat with no lights. They had some neck and back injuries and we taken in ambulance. I don't know if they were sitting still or idling. It scared the crap out of us! We are fortunate. It could have been a lot worse. I was doing about 45 or 50. Be careful out there folks. Too many don't use their lights at night.

I'm with you on that Bill. There are a lot of good lakes that probably won't meet their standards because of the cell coverage. There are quite a few areas on Beaver that don't have very good reception. I live 2 miles from the North Clifty arm and 6 miles from Eureka Springs and my cell coverage at home stinks.

Besides the fact that there is a lot of entertainment in the Branson area why would they not pick a different lake like Beaver or Bull Shoals?

The reason they can bring in one over 24 is because that is what the state allows. There is a slot limit on Fork. You can not keep a fish between from 16 to 24 inches and you can only keep one over 24. That slot has been I. Place about 20 years now. I can see counting your best five with a weigh and immediate release. When I was in Texas we did paper tournaments on lakes like that but of course we were fishing against the person in the boat with us. We always had to have a partner.

Went out Saturday and caught about 10. All on a squared bill. Did not get bit on a shakey head or a jig. Must not have been holding my tongue right. Caught most of them at the mouth of creeks and back in a little bit. Saw some beds and a few bucks. Didn't catch anything big but enjoyed the day even in the rain. I had one that mesured.Water temp 54 to almost 57. -
